At Folivio, we believe your address book is strictly your personal property. We designed our application so that we do not collect, store, transmit, or monetize your contact records, personal data, or usage behavior.
1. Zero Data Collection Architecture
Folivio does not operate external application servers, databases, or user accounts. When you use Folivio to generate an Excel spreadsheet, CSV, vCard, or PDF:
- All reading and transformation of contact records occurs exclusively on your local iPhone hardware via Apple’s native iOS Contacts framework.
- No contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, or notes are ever uploaded to any server, third-party cloud service, or external network.
- We do not employ third-party analytics trackers, crash-reporting SDKs, advertising SDKs, or behavioral profiling tools.
2. iOS System Permissions
Folivio may request the following system permissions to provide core utility functions:
- Contacts Access (Read & Write): Required solely to read your address book to generate spreadsheets/backups and, if explicitly commanded by you, to merge or remove duplicate entries that you have personally reviewed.
- Speech Recognition & Microphone (Optional): Used only if you choose to tap the Dictate button in search fields. Dictation is handled through Apple’s on-device speech APIs and audio is never stored or transmitted by Folivio.
3. In-App Purchases & Payments
Optional upgrades and lifetime purchase unlocks are processed directly by Apple Inc. through the standard iOS StoreKit framework. Folivio does not have access to your credit card details, billing address, or Apple ID credentials. Apple provides our app with an anonymous cryptographic receipt to confirm whether your license is active.
4. Generated Export Files
When you export your contacts, the resulting .xlsx, .csv, .vcf, or .pdf files are saved strictly in your device's temporary sandbox. You control where these files go using the standard iOS Share Sheet (e.g., saving to the Files app, AirDrop, or personal email). Folivio has no secondary access to your shared destination.
5. Changes to This Policy
Because we do not collect your personal information or email address, any updates to this policy will be posted on this page and noted in App Store release notes.
6. Contact & Inquiries
